Is this promotional raffle Halal?
In accordance with majority opinions raffles / giveaways are haram when participants pay money, give something of value, or risk loss (this is gambling / maysir).
They are halal if:
- The prize is fully provided by one party (Waqar), and
- Entry is completely free (no payment, no purchase, no financial risk), and
- Participants do not give up something of monetary value in order to enter.
Following an Instagram account, liking a post, or sharing content does not count as gambling, because:
- No money is paid
- No wealth is risked
- No one loses anything of value
How do I enter?
You are automatically entered if you:
- Follow our instagram @waqarclothing
- Like any post
- Share any post
Am I eligible to enter?
You must have a valid UK address to enter. Currently we only package and ship within the UK.
When do I need to enter by?
Entries are open from 7/02/26 and close 19/03/26. Winner will be picked on the first day of Eid (subject to moon sighting)
What do I win?
Any item you see available on our site! If what you're looking for is not available store credit will be provided instead.
How will I be contacted if I win?
The winner will be contacted via instagram DM's with instructions on how to redeem their free item.
How long will I have to respond?
The winner will be given 7 working days to respond. In the case they don't a redraw will take place.
Will I need to pay for shipping?
No. Shipping costs will be fully covered. Keep in mind you must have a valid UK address
Can I return or exchange my item?
No returns or exchanges will be accepted for this promotion. Chosen items are final.
How does the winner get picked?
All entry data will be compiled and given a unique number. A random number generator will then pick from all available entry data.
